Spoiled Lassie(A short reality)

Born on a generation where material things and physical appearance mattered most, my light bulb started to blink bright thoughts. I was in a very impromptu shoot, while my mom was packing my things. The scattered books go perfectly with what I had in mind. It was supposed to be an image of both fashion and truth on today's world.

This shoot is entitled "SPOILED LASSIE" here it goes...

A story of a young lass named Lassie who lived on a time like mine. She was meticulous and a perfectionist. Lassie was the only daughter and heir to an established multi-million dollar company. She had all the vices she could have. From head to toe she was covered with what money can buy. But there were only three things she couldn't buy. Even if she summed all her father's wealth.

Time. Time is gold. But not even a single gram of gold can turn back time. Her mother died giving birth to her and her father was always at work. She longed for a family who can spend time with her, watch her grow, laugh together with, and share happy memories. She had none.

Wisdom. Knowledge is power. She had the best tutors, the most advance learning materials, colored books and all gadgets. Lassie was even home schooled in order to have the educator's attention only to her. She heard, seen, and learned things only from this but not from experience. She gained knowledge but never really learned to apply them. She didn't have wisdom.

Health. Health is wealth they say. Young Lassie was obsessed with what she saw on magazines. She grew up on "being-thin-is-healthy". What she saw on the cover page and on the ramp was the ideal "should-be". She was suffering from an eating disorder, taking up only liquid drinks such us non-fat milk.

Remember! Time, Wisdom, and Health. Value them than what what our media has shove to us. Real beauty and happiness is in our self-acceptance and self-respect.

She could buy everything but not TIME.
She learned from books not from experience.
Lassie's health was deteriorating. She had an eating disorder.
